Default Advertisements on HD Forums

I mainly visit the touring section, so I'll post it here....there seems to be more advertisement pop ups and videos etc. in the forum post section of the website. I visit on my iPhone, iPad, work PC and Home PC and get the same results.

has this site been hacked?

Just an observation...

I use the IB AutoGroup app on my iPhone to visit the site. Don't have to deal with all of that.

I use an adblocker extension on my browser. gets rid of a lot of that. esp. the ad choices ones (the double underlined green lines that pop up little windows.... hate those)

Moved to Forum Issues. This is not a Touring subject.

Get an ad blocker like everyone else.

I run 1Blocker on both iPad and iPhone
I run Kaspersky on home laptop and gaming PC
we run an expensive Watchguard server at the office.

I get these adverts no matter what.

I am not talking about the adverts on the right side of the page, I am talking about in the actual post spaces.

I need to copy this but...

I have Weblock on my iPad and my browser has an ad blocker and I've never seen a pop up on here.

I got it sorted. There was a Kaspersky web add-on that I did not have turned on. It is configurable at the top of each web page that is loaded. Once turned on it is now blocking (24) requests just on this page alone.

(1) web analytics
(13) add agencies
(10) web beacons

now need to figure out what program to use for the iPad because apparently the 1Blocker that I am using is not doing it's job.

will keep you posted.
