When moving a thread
I know that I've been on here long enough to understand why some threads get moved but for those that are just starting out, I think that it would be nice that if a thread is posted in the wrong area or a question is asked in the wrong area and it gets moved to the proper area that it would be simple courtesy if a reason was given for why it was moved. To me, it's one of the ways that we learn why certain things get done here, thanks.
I understand the link thing because I've followed it before. Mainly I was thinking about the New Member area. I've seen many that don't understand that that section is for introduction not asking questions. There's been a time or two that I've responded to their questions by saying that they'd have better luck posting their questions in another area as well as I've seen you do it too. I've seen threads being edited or locked and the reason was given for that, I guess that's why I just thought that a NM might like to learn something also. Just an idea, thanks.
I fully agree...I have also had a thread move latly that I thought was correct in were I put it but then found it moved with no "calling card" left so I had no idea why...
Why can't a mod just add...Moved by "Moe Mod"..And we can ask "Moe Mod" why if we care...
Thanks Springer for the question...You have been here from the beginning...ALOT has changed since then........o~`o........
