Anyone who can assist, please do so. I stopped recving emails on threads some time back. I've tried deleting and re-entering the user ID, password, email address...basically all personal info. Also been into, and reset, options, security, even made sure of the thread preferences.
I'm mentally exhausted at this point and am appealing to all for help with this. I can always go to subscribed threads and check there, but that's tedious for as frequently as I'm on here.
I've left a message with one of our moderators but have yet to hear back.
Thanks for any assistance - I'm 63 and maybe this tech is getting beyond me...

Just asking...when you made all of these changes, did you go to the bottom of that page and click "save changes"? It's easy to miss.

Pretty sure I did, but just went in and cleared/reset name, mail add., and subscription options. Made certain to hit save on both.
Also checked notification status on all subscriptions - all were set at Instant.
'Preciate the help, COC. Funny, but that ain't what COC meant to me back when... : )
I'll see what happens tomorrow.

That too, but my first reaction is always Chain of Command. And it seemed everyone was in command...
Still no luck, btw. I guess until this thing resolves itself I'll just check my subscribed threads periodically. One thing - my iPad, iPhone, and the wife's iPad all have the same email address. Wonder if there's something there? Everything else gets sent OK though.
Anyway thanks. Good to see you survived Tet. And everything else for that matter.

Have you tried logging off and logging back on? Clearing your cache? I'm not sure how the email might be messing it up but I'm not an electronic guru.
And I wasn't there for the '68 Tet Offensive. I got there later that year but Thanks for that.

Don't know how or why, but a few minutes ago I finally got email from the site concerning a new message posted.
I haven't had time to try clearing the cache, but now that it works I'm sure not gonna try to fix it. Maybe a moderator (you?) spotted this and stepped in.
Hope it's resolved for good, and thanks again for the advice.
Hey, one thought just struck me. The wife uses my old iPad, and at times I'll still use it too. If I'm logged in on hers, it dawned on me that she doesn't close Safari or mail. Even though the screen goes to sleep when she closes the cover maybe it's still showing me as logged in and active.
I think what I'll do is just not log in at all if I'm using hers...

Personally, I'd log off on her iPad and not log on and stay looked in on yours. I stay logged on on mine and my wife never bothers with it, just like her mini laptop. I never touch it.
But it's good that you got a notification. It's a start.
