Default Dumb Question

When viewing this site on my Ipad and I click on a thread I have already read it automatically takes me to the first post in the thread I have not yet seen. My question: Is there a way to set it up on my computer the same way? I've searched several times and haven't discovered the secret if there is one.

If you go to the blue line above, click on USER CP, click on SETTING & OPTIONS, click on EDIT OPTIONS, go to THREAD DISPLAY OPTIONS.

I'm on an iPad too and mine doesn't take me to the first post I have seen. But I'm okay that it doesn't. Maybe you can set your PC up the same way that your iPad is.
