Seeking clarification on what constitutes "Religious Content"
My understanding is that it means proselyting or evangelizing.
Some moderators appear to interpret this more broadly.
For example, why is a "Prayer forum" not religious content?
I was recently given an infraction for "Religious Content" when I was not discussing religion, but politics. The only "religious" content was point out that Christian leaders in Israel had refused to meet with the vice-president because of political reasons.
If "political content" refers to any mention of anything related to "religion", then why is all the onesided discussion and insults about Muslims and Islam allowed?
I appreciate that, in my case, certain parties are gaming the system in an attempt to silence me and that some moderators, in their voluntary capacity might share sentiments with such parties and enable them.
Therefore, I'd to have a more clearly defined definition in order for it not to be used against me dishonestly.
Thanks.
BTW, should the rules not also be up to date to include some reference to the spamming of "Fake News" stories? It strikes me it is a new problem that has arisen since the forum was established.
15. Moderators and Administrators have final word in anything and everything. If you have a problem or a complaint direct it to them, not to the general forums. They will then take the appropriate actions. This applies to issues with the forum in general, as well as issues with other members. Do not attack a Moderator or an Admin on the open forum. If your thread or post is pulled by a Moderator/Admin do not start another thread or post on the same topic. Violation of this rule may cause immediate banning from HDForums. If you have a problem with a Moderator then you need to work it out with them via pm's, email or contact an Admin.
19. We ask that members keep in mind membership is a privilege, NOT a right, and as a private forum, the administration and moderators have total say as to which members are, and are not allowed. The same rule applies for single posts and threads, and anything deemed to be inappropriate by any member of the staff will be removed. Members who continue to ignore this rule will be removed with no possibility of return.
In other words, you answer to us, we don't have to answer to you! Don't like it? Leave!

Who is the bosses of bosses, as in, to who are the moderators and Admin responsible?
Who sets the rules so I can ask them?
Surely there's no harm or offence in that?
