I was wondering why? That whenever I tap the link to a notification of a new reply to a thread that I'm subscribed to it always starts at the beginning of the thread and not say like post that was notified? Say post 47, where I left off. Because of this misdirection I use twice as much of my data plan than I should be... Thanx if you can help.......
To be honest, I've never had notifications on threads I've subscribed to. I'd say get rid of the notifications, if it'll save your data. That probably doesn't help but that's all I have.

Then what's the purpose of subscribing to a thread? You give us these tool's to make it easier to follow threads that we're interested in and give advise in but "get rid of the notifications" is your answer, your fix????. Then what's the Sense..?? You rely on us forum users to promote your site where you sell advertising and you don't want to help in any way???? Really???
Just checked. When I get a notification and click on the link, it takes me to the first post that I haven't seen yet. It doesn't take me back to the beginning of the thread.
I looked for a setting that might need to be set to do that, but I didn't find anything.

Look at it anyway you want to. I told you what I'd do to save your data. That's all. I don't need or want notifications. If you don't like the answers, why ask the questions? It's not a perfect world.
