How To Turn Off Infinite Scroll On A PC
Thanks to Ron750 and Nevada, the solution for those of us using a computer browser (not a mobile device) is to TURN OFF INFINITE SCROLL

Go into your user CP>Go to "Settings and Options">"Edit Options">scroll down to "Thread Display Options"> scroll down to "Infinite Scroll Disable" and check that box (a circle really)>scroll down and click "Save Changes">Close browser>Bob's your uncle
