Minimum post count before starting topic
That's what this forum needs, a requirement number of replies before posting a new topic!
I'm sick and tired of squids coming on here to ask some cliffhanger question only to never reply again to any of the time all the good people of this forum put into their question.

Some of the best threads are from new members. Sometimes they are the only non POD threads. I don't like your idea.

But the reality is that a lot of people that post don't come here until they have a question...just some are not very good at the "after the initial question" stuff

Ok I see the point with staying the course. I like HD Forums, I just think there's way too much clutter.
For what it's worth, I'm not answering questions from one-post wonders anymore. I they want my time, put in the effort to at least look like they'll appreciate it.
Also, a "squid" is a noob biker. The term was coined back in the early 2000's when stunt riding started growing and young kids started buying up sport bikes they had no business owning.
