Been this way for a while now, one of our resident idiots who eventually went to banned camp would post up something to stir it then edit his posts to fit his argument or to make replies seem way off or out of context completely. Several months now at least.
I do agree I'd like to see a longer grace period to edit things when needed, between fat fingers, autofill and just thinking faster than one can type sometimes you don't catch it till too late.
