Loading related thread
Is this something new? At the end of a thread, it starts loading a related thread.
Can I turn it off? It seems to lock up my system at that point. Not always.

I have the same question. Its annoying to scroll to the bottom and then it rolls you into a "related thread." Theres also been a ton of people accidentally reviving very old threads or just posting their responses to the wrong threads because of this. If its possible to turn it off somewhere in my settings, I havent been able to find it.
ETA: Typed too soon. For anybody else, go to the user CP, edit options, scroll down to the "thread display options" box and click on "disable related threads."

Thank you. Disable Related Threads. Just what I wanted to know.
As a bonus, there is an option to bypass old threads. Nothing like reading ten or twenty posts then
realizing it is 7 years old.

I also disabled Infinite Scroll. Might help if you are limited by transmission speed or buffer size or something.
Honestly, when my system locks up I am just reminded that perhaps I should be doing something useful instead.
