Default Auto save, how does this work?

While posting on a tread using my iPhone, every so often as I type I it my post, I’ll notice in the lower corner of the text box, a yellow box appear for a few seconds that says “auto-saved. So you assume that what I typed has been saved somewhere. So is this a feature built into the forum tools or is this some Apple tool built into the iPhones. Tks if you can clue me in about this.

Only on this forum. But if your post or text window should vanish, good luck relocating it. You can, but on a phone its hard to find the tab that retrieves it. Not automatic as it should be. You texting is times and sensitive to data it uses. God forbid if you are posting images which use a ton of data. Doing that is like raping this this already crippled forum. So be quick and diligent about it. The service/ server here sucks
