posting videos
I've recorded a few videos on my phone and downloaded them to my laptop. The phone records as an mp4 and when I try to attach them to a post, it states that file extension isn't accepted. I have tried changing the file extension but still won't upload. Any suggestions. (damned technology, I guess I was born 30 years to early. I bet my 4 yr. old granddaughter could do it, but its past her bedtime and she is already asleep.)

Video files need to be posted to a video hosting site and then linked to HDF. One can only upload photos to the HDF picture hosting server.
Most folks use youtube. You would upload your video there and then share the link here.

Bot, I'm sure everything you stated is true. And it sounds pretty simple, but I am technologically challenged. Proof being I just tried to scroll down on the directv guide on the TV using the mousepad on my laptop and couldn't figure out why it wasn't doing anything. (I still have an AOL account" LOL.
