Default Time off?

Is it just me or is the time widely off within the site?
I'm logged on at 4:41PM ET, but up in the right by my welcome it says "You last visited: Today at 08:38 PM" ???

Hi gc, this stuff is not my bailiwick but I just tested the time stamp and it is to the minute perfect my friend.

Also, yours does not seem like it is an even hour off but the minutes are off too.

1. You may want to check your device (however you are calling into HDF) for the correct time.
2. You can look around in your CP esp in the time zone area. But then again, that would mean you could be off by hours, not minutes off.

Gd luck.

But likely someone waaaaay more knowledgeable than me in this regard is likely to swing by here soon.

Esp. if u have a couple extra beers with you.

Go to User CP ...Settings & Options...click Edit Options...scroll down and check the settings of your local Date & Time Options

Thanks FXD2003Rider, I checked and my time zone was set incorrectly.
I'm not sure how that happened because I didn't change it and it was always correct until yesterday, but in any event I set it to my correct time zone.

Are you close to another time zone? If so your ISP could be logging you on to their servers in that zone when you go on line. I know my ISP will have me logged to their servers over 100 miles away at times.

It would seem, if it is a timezone thing, then the OP would be off by the hour. Not the minutes.

But maybe time stamping was based upon logon and logoff times which would account for being off by the minutes.

Mark,
Here's the explanation (see screenprint below): "Log on time" vs "Last activity" vs "Computer Time".

ty (again)

I feel like you are the shark and I am one of those little fish feeding off the scraps that come from you. HAPPY to be the one for sure. ty

I was figuring, the timestamp the OP was looking at was current and not matching up with his cmptr time (or other device he was using).
