1985 FLHT Hard Starting
On first start of the day, when cranking engine, for the first 10-15 seconds of cranking the engine, there is no spark. But if you leave the ignition on and take a minute or so break. Then go back to cranking the engine, there is spark and engine will start right up. Let the engine sit and idle for a few minutes, the engine will loose spark and die. But it starts right back up and will run fine for 5-10 minutes before I shut it off. The bike has all the original factory ignition parts. Any ideas as to where to look for a fix? Thanks for your help.
