Many forums I'm on offer a way to pay for a subscription to be able to view the forum without the ads... Is this a possibility? The ads, especially on the mobile site are annoying at least, and intrusive at worst. On the mobile site, ill be half way through a thread reading, then a new video loads and it takes me all the way back to the top. It is infuriating... There is a lot of valuable info here from the members, but the ads make it difficult to comfortably and easily browse.
Is there a paid option, or can their be a paid option to not see all the ads?
No, you cannot bribe us to remove your ads. That's what pays the bills here.
Not looking to "bribe you" at all.... I have been the admin of other forums, and we have done similar things. I don't know the numbers behind the forum, but it shouldn't be too difficult to determine how much ad revenue each member is worth (on an average) and charge a similar amount for annual membership that essentially sterilizes the AdSense scripts etc.
The site still gets the revenue to operate, upgrade, grow, etc and it offers a convenience option to the members who value the option.

Are you browsing logged out? There shouldn't be video ads if you are logged into your account when browsing.
This. I get less ads on here than any other website. Definitely not intrusive at all. I do use Duck, Duck Go which has a built in popup blocker. Or Chrome with an AdBlocker.

Why should the members have to pay for something when they can remedy the situation for free? My add blocker didn't cost me one red cent. Plus, when I read this forum, I am logged in so I don't see any popups or any videos or anything that would annoy some that choose not to log in when they read this forum. Rather simple really.
