Somebody please help me! I take a pic on my cell phone. E-mail it to myself. Click on save image as, then it opens up in my folder I click save the photo name is there and it's saved as a J Peg. Then,when I try to post it here? It's says file jjfif is not recognized. What the hell is going on? Noname

Try saving it as .jpg
That should work.

In the past, I also had issues with trying to post a pic from my files. One way that I solved it was to simply put my mouse on the pic that I wanted, hit Copy and then when I wanted to share it with others here, I would hit the word Paste and it would show up on my thread. For example, I did the following just how I described it to you:

Hey Springer, that works with a JPEG which I can post easy. But my new phone saves pics as JFIF and I cant keep em on my computer as JPEGS so I need to find a way to convert them and so far I have not found that way. Noname

Well, ya got me there, I know nothing about saving pics on a phone, I am old fashioned and use a desk top computer.

can't you upload directly from your phone, rather than emailing yourself the image? JFIF is a JPG, but with some different encoding and our system doesn't like them.
