Recently I have not been receiving email notification of new posts on my Subscribed Threads. In my User Control Panel, Subscribed Threads, I have tried to change the Notification from "OFF" to "ON" by ticking the box next to the subscribed threads and then selecting "Instant Email Notification" and hitting "GO". The value of "Email: Instant Push" does not change to "ON".
Please help.
can you share a screenshot? I'm not sure what you're referring to. instant notifications are browser based, and not directly related to instant email updates of new posts.
I have solved my problem and it was as you suggested, browser based.
I am using Microsoft Edge and whenever this browser updates itself I suppose that it changes settings to suit its vile self.
Here is a screenshot of my concern but by going to my settings of the browser and trying various settings associated with notifications and such, the problem has been resolved.
Stupid people do not often get evidence-based indications of their stupidity, but I have received such evidence of my stupidity. AND......I HAVE DOCUMENTED MY STUPITIDY FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE on a forum which is published worldwide.
(Maybe I can learn from it. But stupid people do not learn easily.)
