08 SG still excessive vibration after front engine mount.
My 08 Streetglide would vibrate really bad at idle, and when slowing down. It had a crack in it. I installed heavy duty rubber mount from Drag Specialties and now it's smooth at idle but still crazy vibration while slowing to stop. I try to downshift as much as possible to keep the revs up but it's still really bad.. It runs like butter above like 2500 rpm. It has Woods 222 cams but that shouldn't matter much I think.
Ive heard mixed results with poly plastic ones. Wonder if i should put a stock one back in? Thanks!

This was and still is my issue after several hundred miles. Slowing with the clutch pulled and coasting, at about 2K rpm, the vibration seems a bit too intense for a few seconds at the bars/fairing like both fairing brackets are snapped (which theyre not). Idle is fine. I too bought the Drag Specialties front mount (departing OEM). Thinking maybe I goofed up the install, I watched YouTube vids till my eyes popped out troubleshooting the issue, but still the same no matter what I tried. Its my opinion its just a cheaper mount with a classy name. Some say theres a Buell front mount that does wonders. Got that on my To Do list.
