What type of device are you using? That's were it needs to be rotated?
On my android device, it's a simple matter to hit Edit, Crop, and part of the crop menu is rotate. The symbol just above crop.with the arrow is rotate.
Than just save a copy or save depending on your device's ability.

You never mentioned what device your source is on.
Just guessing but your device is just saving how you want to view it. That's important for jpeg files since ever copy looses clarity. Not important unless your making large prints.
So you're still uploading your original source. I ask questions and tried to help on what I understand.
If you don't know how to save a copy that's not the original source, screen print it and upload that.

Appears you gave up but if your on and android phone, you may have this turned on. Just an opinion but putting picture out on the WWW, it should be off.
