Why do some threads go to
wide screen? Most posts stay at what I consider a normal sreen size but every so often, one of the posts will be too wide to be read. Wind up having to use the slide bar at bottom of page to read the contents. It gets very frustrating having to move back and forth, just to read the posting.
Any ideas on how to fix this problem....other than not reading the post at all?

It is caused by someone posting a picture that is larger than what is allowed by forum rules.
When you find a thread like that, do the following:
Find the post with the too large picture
Noter the post # in the lower right hand corner
Copy the URL from your address bar.
PM a Moderator or Admin with the url and the post number and say the pic is too large
The Mods and Admin can edit out the offending picture.
