It seems to me that the forum pages are loading a low slower than normal today. It is taking a minute or more for each page to load. In some cases, 2 or more minutes. I am on a highspeed connection here at work, probably T1. I will have to see what happens on my DSL connection at home this evening.
It's been like this for a while. The mods and admin know about the problem. Either they don't know how to fix it, or they just don't care.
Gundog, the one and only thing you're right about is we as mods and admin don't know how to fix it or we would, we are not IT's we don't have anyway to get into the system even if we knew what the problem was and had the knowledge to fix it, the only thing we can do is report the problem and ask for a reboot and we have done both.
This is not the first time you've made derogatory remarks towards the mods and admin here, we do care and we've reported it, maybe you might try some of the things we have suggested, such as FF, clearing your cache and cookies and even adblock, such as Anubiss and others has done.
I'm running FF and no adblocks and it's darn fast for me, sure doesn't take a minute to load a page and I'm only on a 5mb cable connection.
What browser are you running Gundog, have you tried any of our suggestions?
