Every once in awhile, I will try to open the forums and I will get a message that says the administrators have banned my ip address. The first time it happened, I thought maybe I had offended someone without even being aware of it. I have not been involved in any serious confrontations, so I was very puzzled as to why I had been banned.
The only option available to me was to contact the administrators. I wrote a message and asked why I was banned. Never did get an answer, but two days later I was able to log on again like nothing ever happened. It has happend five times total now. Three of the five times, I wrote the administrators without recieving a response.
I have figured out that I am not banned, it must be a glitch. But I am wondering, while I am getting messages saying I am banned, does my avatar have "banned" next to it?
You are not banned, however you are using a known proxy server IP to access HDF, these known proxy server IP's can and do get banned, also if another member is using the same proxy IP and gets banned and their IP is banned then any member using that proxy won't be able to get back online here either. I suggest not using a proxy server to keep from having log in issues.
