Break in service
Whats up? New to this site and I'm sure this has been talked about in the pass but I'm hoping to get some feedback. I own an 09 street and I'm due for my break in service. I'm hoping to kill a couple of birds with one stone. First of all should I put pipes and a heavy breather on before the service so they can reprogram the efi's computer during the service or is that totally different from what they are doing. Second does this service change the rev limit of the bike. The problem with this is when the bike starts to produce real good power the engine hits its rev limit and shuts down. I know I can get a "chip" to change this but as we all know these things cost money. I'm not looking to make this into a drag bike I just want a little more sound and power.
