I know I can go in and unsubscribe to every darn thread I post in, but that's a hassle. I went into my user cp and options and I have email notifications turned off for subscriptions, but I still get them. In fact, I'm gonna have to double check, but I unsubscribed to a ton of threads this morning and this afternoon I still got email notifications of (I think) the ones I unsubscribed from.
Can't I just set something to NOT get email notification of threads I post in???
OK, figured it out. I'll leave this in case someone else wants to know.
Since when I signed up the option was for daily email updates, all the threads I have posted in are set with that status. I had to go into my subscriptions and select each one and turn off email notifications a page at a time. What a PIA. I just deleted the subscriptions in case that failed. I think my future posts won't generate email notifications. If I do have a thread that I want to be notified of updates, I can go back in there and select that one thread and turn on notification.
