Yeah, I'd rather live with the advertisments than have to pay.

They know we look at some of them, so it they keep the site up fine.
If you asked for donations, only some members would give.

My little hunting forum costs a tad bit to run. I can only venture a guess at what the server space and bandwidth costs are here..for one there is no doubt at all it will have to be on a dedicated server. that alone is very costly.

Terry, I don't know about others but I have been having some forum issues in the last couple days. I don't know if it is one of the specific adds or not. I get an error message once and awhile and it shuts down my browser. Or I just can not navigate away from HDF and I have to close the browser altogether and start over.

So maybe do a check on the adds you have running on the forum. Just a thought.

I am having problems opening picture links, a error shows up saying this
hd2009man, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
  1. [*]
why is it doing this, I can post threads, reply to threads and edit mine but I can't view pics?????
