Default What's Up With the E-mails

I have been getting daily e-mails of the threads that I checked out on HD Forums. I get 6 or 7 a day and it is getting annoying. Does anyone know how to stop this? Other than this inconvenience I enjoy the site.

You also need to delete your subscription to all of the old threads you are currently subscribed to...or they'll keep coming every time somebody posts something in those threads. Changing the your default subscription mode to 'not subscribe' will only affect new threads.

Yep, what -------------^ they said! Every thread you post to is set to subscribe, which in turn sends the updated notice to yer email, unless you change it in the user cp. User CP is in left end of the blue bar under the forum section title at the top of any page you view once you sign in.

Leave your subscription status alone. Go to use CP - go to Edit Options - Got to the Messaging & Notification Box - Default Thread Subscription Mode - there's a drop down box, select No Email Notification.

I selected to receive notices and after a while they stopped. Can't get them to start back up.
