Click on the attachments (paper clip).

A new window will open, you will see 2 options.

1. Upload File from your Computer

2. Upload File from a URL

Choose the first one, click on (Choose File), locate it on your computer and select it.

Now you've got to click on "Upload".

Depending on the size of the file & the speed of your computer it may take several moments, be patient.

Clicking upload a second time seems to work for me (no idea why)..LoL.

Good luck.

The "insert URL" is looking for the gallery address or a Photobucket address.

Photobucket is the best and easiest way to host and post pictures.

Once in photobucket, you copy the "direct Link" and post in that "insert URL" box

Default Wants full size pic not thumbnail

I think I have the same question as the OP. I can get a picture to upload as a thumnail but want to have it show up in my post as a full sized picture. How do you do that ?

Thanks,

Christian

If you want to post a photo that's on your computer's drive as a full size image and not a thumbnail, first you have to upload that photo onto a photo hosting website (photobucket, webshots, etc...)

Once you have your photo uploaded, right-click on the image (make sure that it's opened to its full size - don't click on the thumbnail) and click on properties. Copy the Address (URL). In photobucket, you can just click on the Direct Link to copy the address.

In the Reply to Thread page, click on this icon which is Insert Image. A new window will pop up.

Delete the highlighted http://, right click and paste. Click OK and you should see your photo in the reply window.

This may not be the best or most proficient way to do this, but it's what I know and it works for me.

The same technique applies to any image that's on the internet. Just right click on the image and follow the same steps. And you get this...
