It does suck. It's all about the money for the owners though. I had to go from Internet explorer to firefox just to view this website because of all the adds. It's sad that this site is just about the money from adds.

If they didn't have the adds, would you be willing to pay a monthly subscription to pay for the bandwidth use?

this place is huge, the amount of server space and bandwidth needed costs more than your willing to pay to simply read and post to a forum, the ads are keeping this place afloat and that is probably about all they are doing...been the owner of forums myself for 6 yrs until i sold out this summer, cant afford them, or refuse to, and my community was not nearly as big.

No problems on my Mac, and Safari is not known to be one of the faster browsers. Since the update, I've noticed it's a little slower, but I don't exactly sit here twittling my thumbs while I wait for it to load.
