Default Banned from posting!

Slide, Burnout, Lildog, Mackie guess what. Yall asked me to post the pet carrier on here and I did. Ya said the forum needed to see it. Well, I got a note from Mac, (pilot 1996) and he said if I wanted to advertise I could pay or he was gonna ban me from here. As yall know I was not advertising I was just puttin it here cause ya said there would be a lot of folks that would want to see it. Guess he is god here and figured I was tryin to make a buck. Looks to me like he is the one trying to cash in. Just thought I'd let ya know what went on. See ya in the street.

Thunder,

You have apparently not been banned from posting if you were able to post this. I doubt Mac thinks he is God. He has rules that he has to follow to keep things running right, and he does a good job.

Lighten up and have fun.

Regards,

Bill

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA - Man you can say a lot of things about Mac, Great family man, serves and give countless hours to his country, gives hours to the forum, shares his experiences and is a bright guy but if you think he is trying to cash in around here maybe you should take a little more than 24 hours and 6 posts to find out what is going on. The admins around here are pretty cool man - Please take a few days, read the posts and please stick around - It's worth it - IMHO you won't find a better bunch of people or more knowledge in one place - The only ones cashing in are all of us!

I was wondering about something. I've seen the Admin ban before and they weren't able to post from there on. If you have been banned from posting, how are you still able to do so? I think that it might be possible that there is a misunderstanding here somewhere. I don't think that you have been banned.

No sir, that is not what I said.

You posted 5 posts to 5 different forums, all with a link to a website. One of the posts was in the vendors forums, which is reserved for paying vendors.

I did not ban you, I told you that you would BE banned if continued to do what I considered to be advertising without paying to advertise.

We have a number of vendors that are paying to advertise, and the board is able to continue due to their contributions. It is not fair to them to allow others to advertise for free.

I also told you that you are free to enjoy the forums, IIRC.

To clear the air, I am a volunteer, I receive no monetary gain from this, I do this on my own time, and I do it because I enjoy it.

If there is any misunderstanding, please feel free to contact me directly. I will work hard to ensure that there is no confusion. I am here to ensure that the online community continues to grow, not shrink...the more the merrier, it makes for a better experience for all.

Mac

Late add:

Not sure who the members you just named are, but they are not members on this board

Mac, I would say you were very fair on the issue at hand.
