Default Ads from Vibrant

Vibrant is out of hand on some threads you can not even read the thread so many of their ads coming up ,they starting play audio it is making the site almost worthless

Add the following line to your Windows 'hosts' file:
127.0.0.1 itxt.vibrantmedia.com
This won't stop everything, but it'll kill those green Intellitxt text links, which is where much of the crap you're describing comes from (if you happen to move your mouse over them). It takes effect immediately. You don't even need to reboot. GL!

I have been using Firefox with ad blocker for the last year. I haven't seen an ad since

Fire fox can not block vibrant without shut down Java and you need java to view a lot of sites and content. Vibrant becomes part of the web page

Thanks that a different approach to dealing with them I will try it.

I've never seen one, ( IE with free AVG Anti Virus.)

Interesting. I view a lot of different websites and never had any trouble seeing them. Not sure what I am missing, but I am happy I am not seeing ads and slowing me down.

You can disable Vibrant right from the popup window.

Right click on the Vibrant highlighted word in your text and diable it. This fix has been posted here numerous times. Firefox with ad blocker takes care of everything.
