Ignore list working intermittently?

Ignore list working intermittently?
Three times in the past couple of weeks posts have shown up by people on my ignore list. If I go to User CP, Edit Ignore List, these users show as checked for ignore. But if I click "Save" the group once again goes into ignore mode. Not a killer problem I cant live without now that I know how to re-activate the list. Any ideas why I've got an intermittent ignore feature?
GG, any progress on simple "Ignore" button(s) at the bottom of each post? "Ignore this user", "Ignore this post", "Ignore this thread"?
