Pop Up Ads

Am I the only person on this forum who is having a problem with pop up advertisements? The ads appear on the far right of my screen and take up about 20% of the space. I cannot seem to make them go away and I can't scroll sideways so I can read the entire thread. I know that the forum makes its money from advertisements and I don't begrudge them their money. But, there has to be a better way to satisfy both the forum"s need to make money and my desire to read articles.

Yeah, I get them too and the computer is slow because of them.

Is adblocker a separate program??
