pop ups
Seems like a pretty good strategy to me - either they are wasting their money preaching to the converted or casting a net for the disaffected and/or curious. No matter what they are hitting a demographic that likes big American twins...

FWIW, I owned Victory before I bought my Ultra back in 07. It had its issues just like anything else, but what Victory has done is make others look at themselves. Had it not been for Vic hitting the market, I seriously doubt you would have ever seen better brakes, bigger engines, or the better frames HD is using now. It was in direct response to what Vic is doing. I consider the competition good for HD. Will they ever be what Harley is? I doubt it. But it will be good for future enhancements to the bike we choose to ride.

......as to all the Victory ads on here, its all about the money. This site has become a prime example of corporate America. Partially out of necessity and partially because of the new(er) ownership.
Doesn't bother me a bit. Everyone's got to make a buck, right. And if Victory can sway a few riders to the dark side, have at it.
I stop by the Victory dealership in Fayetteville to check them out from time to time. They look a little too futuresque/fugly for my taste. I do like the look of the Cross Country, but not enough to buy one.

They do their fair share of business and we've got quite a few Victory's cruising around the Fort Bragg/Fayetteville area.

With Polaris recent acquisition of Indian motorcycle company and with a all new designed Indian line coming out this fall you have to wonder what the future holds for Victory. I personally am not a fan of Polaris and it's attempt to BE Harley. They seem to bad mouth Harley more than they promote their product. I went into a victory dealer with my friend because he was looking to get his first new bike.
The salesman there ask me what I ride I told him a Harley and he just went on and on about how Harley's are junk and how dumb I am for buying one and how I need to do myself a favor and get a victory. Then you go on YouTube and find a whole series based on bashing just one brand HARLEY. I am all for competition as I have and will own other brands and types of motorcycle but blatant disrespect and actually trying to be Harley is just creepy to me. I am completely turned off from anything Polaris even though I actually like some Victories.

I would pay a monthly fee to stop the annoying pop up adds that interrupt me every minute on this forum. Maybe there is a way of signing up for a premium service, but every theme I search, the pop ups get in my way...
