I was able to block it thru internet exploder 9 by going tools/internet options/security/restricted sites/sites button and add to the block web sites http://*.kontera.com
I just made this change and it appears to have solved the problem for me.
The last thread was locked but I wanted to respond the the moderator telling us to read the sticky at the top. The posts were made while the thread was still located in the "touring" area. Asking if we bothered to read the stickys at the top only had me opening the hundreds of pages at the top trying to figure what "Sticky" you were referring to.
I love this forum and as friends move to the world of new Harley owners I point them in this direction for the incredible amount of available information. But now I have to add, "oh btw the site is full of popups so unless you dont mind staring at a loading screen for long periods of time you wont want to use Internet explorer. You should download firefox or Chrome, then go and install AdBlock. I don't think i will have many takers going forward when I suggest this site.
Not trying to be disrespectful, I have installed Chrome and Adblock just for the benefit of using this forum. But it's a hard sell for people that have not discovered the great advantage this site is to Harley owners.

I had not realized that the thread had been moved to the forum issues section and that was the section I was referring to. I sincerely apologize if I sent you on a wild goose chase.
On the other hand, there is no need to use another browser if you don't want to as I'm sure that IE has their own type of ad blocker. What that is, I don't know. That is something that those users are going to have to research for themselves. The sticky I posted was a member suggested fix that seemed to help a lot of people.
