I was able to block it thru internet exploder 9 by going tools/internet options/security/restricted sites/sites button and add to the block web sites http://*.kontera.com
Works fine on my laptop. Firefox you download add blocker.

I complained also but someone posted if you are a forum supporter you do not get them. I figured I receive plenty of batter and useful info on here that I would think it is worth the $15. I did and never have had another pop up
