Only issue with posting from Facebook is that they change their links often.. Once the link changes, your picture is gone.

ok ok made a simple version with pix even a caveman can do it lol
sorry guys for the honda image stuff in these pix ,
i moderate a forum and use this alot for the newbs there !!!!
and had it on hand already
its better then nothing

There are plenty of good threads on how to post pics, but I thought I'd make a quick and dirty one on photobucket photos.

You can create a free account on photobucket to host your pics. (if you go over your limit, or want more features, they will sell you more space, but if not, it's free)

http://photobucket.com/

Once you upload the pictures, they give you the code that you need to copy and paste into ANY forum that uses BBCode (like this one) and you can show your pics.

When a picture is hosted on photobucket, it goes into albums. By default, you have one, but you can make more. When you look in your album, you will see small thumbnail pics like this ..

If you choose you can click your mouse over the picture, you'll see a larger version of the picture with 4 boxes under the pic. They have code to link to your pic. Depending on where you want to show the pics on, you will need to select the appropriate code. For this forum, select the bottom code. They list it as IMG code.

When you click on the code, it should return a message saying that it is copied. This means it is on your clipboard. You'll paste it into your post later.

If that doesn't work for you, you can always highlight the code and copy by right clicking and selecting 'copy'. from the main page highlighted in green

Return to the forum and in the area where you are entering your post, paste the code you just put on your clipboard, by right clicking and select paste or
hold CTRL and press V to paste it

It's that easy... There are also lots of forum members that are willing to help if your stuck ...

You can have that problem with Photobucket as I've found out from experience, if you cancell a pic from there it also disappears from the forum, which is why you sometimes see a"this photo has been removed " message where the pic used to be.

photo bucket resizes ur photos at upload
the NEW photobucket and old photobucket allow u to select upload size
so if u upload a photo lets say 1000x1000 and photobucket is set to upload ur photos at 640 480 thats what it will be , check ur settings for upload size

new photobucket version tips should be the same for the old version

click library at the top of the page it shows
u what ur use to seeing

but this is what ya need to do to make it better
do this youll be fine

check ur settings they changed them as well

goto ur name in upper right select user settings
click albums
at top select newest first for the order
and checkmark sort all exsiting the same way

look for and checkmark links u want to be shown
email, direct link ,img code is what u should mark

also checkmark turn on easy linking mode

then click save

then it will say saved

then click library at top and all should be looking the same but just better

another lil tip ---- if you want to upload photos but have them resized automaticly to lets say
640 480 when u click UPLOAD at top youll see customize upload options click that

select the size u want and Wham -- it will resize anything you upload to that size -
this way you do not have to worry about the size driving people nuts ----
of course only do this if your not worried about the size -
i always have my original sized photos saved on my hard drive for sending better detail
this option is good if your not to worried about the size / and also good for forums
