Not sure this is an issue or just the way it works but maybe someone can explain why. I use "My Recent Topics" to watch threads and I find that even though a thread has been updated, the "Go To First Unread Post" icon does not display on all threads that have been updated. It appears it's just be the first 4-6 that have it every time. Even though the others should have it since they have been updated. Splain.

Am I the only one that uses this function?

Okay, I turned my color controller off so I could see what you was talking about and I see it but I don't understand why more of mine that have unread new posts don't show the new post icon or are in bolder print. If I select Go To First Unread it's gone after that so I don't understand why I'm not see a bunch of bold print with icon as well. Two more shots to show. I took a shot of the first one that doesn't show bold or have the icon for an example.

I view the forum a bit differently than you do. I click on "new posts". All of the posts have the "unread posts" icon. This works pretty well for me as I just scan the right hand side and look for the several forums that interest me. If the page count exceeds 20, however, don't get all the new posts.
That being said the forum doesn't do a good job of actually going to all the new posts that I haven't read. Often have to scroll up to see posts I haven't seen.

The multi-page thing is why I started using this feature and it allows me to stay on top of threads I've visited. Just wish the new post icon would display on all threads that have new posts. Until I realized it wasn't, I skipped many thinking they had not been updated. This site has a lot of activity and this function is great. But.........
