Pictures in App problem

Pictures in App problem
Usung a Galaxy S4 and the app, most if the pictures are just showing as grey boxes. I have to use the shortcut to open the internet browser to see them. Also the ones that I do see and can open are usually really small and can't be enlarged.
Anybody know a cure? (Hoping I don't get the usual "millions of phones our there can't help ya bud" response lol).
