Post dates and messages are incorrect

Post dates and messages are incorrect
When I log in I look and see that there is a new post. EX: I posted a few days ago and it shows that I posted today at 6:00 am, I was asleep in bed.
I also had a new notification of 1 new message and when I checked it , it is one I had already opened a few days ago. Then another few minutes later it tells me again I have 1 new notification. Just want to up date the administrator. Is it something I am doing incorrectly. I tried to delete the message and I get a message saying something about a error.
