How long does it take before a new member is allowed to post in other areas other then the new members area?

You've posted in other areas besides the New Members. Which section are you having trouble with?

I have some parts to sell and when I try to start a new thread it tells me my account may not be activated yet

I thought so. If you had read the top of that page, here's why...

Harley Davidson Classifieds You Have To Be An Active Member To Use This Forum. You Have To Have Been A Member For At Least 30 Days And Have At Least 5 Posts (Unrelated To The Classified Section) To Be Considered An Active Member.

You've only been a member since 5-19.
