Default Raising a 2018 FatBob

Hi
My first Harley at 55, wish I did it years ago.
got s 2018 FXFBS white Fat Bob
Done a few modification but am looking at playing with the suspension rise the back with the replacement eyelet on the shock and lower the forks in the tripple clamps there about 10mm to play with just to get a bit more ground clearance.
Has anyone done this and if so what were the results

Thank you

Hopey

Can't help with the rear-end, but I have raised my SuperLow for the same reasons. What I found is that the forks sagged over 50% of their total travel, which came as a surprise, so I suggest you check yours first. In my case all I had to do was correct sag, which raised the front a little over an inch. Again, may not be the same with your bike, but worth doing the check.

Would hope not as I only just picked it up last week brand new but has been in the shop a year never the less once I get tha shock eyelet extension it’ll go into a suspension shop for adjustments new valves etc
atleast I’ll know it’s right and then I’ll change riding style to suit.
thank you

My Sporty was brand-spanking new! I even had the dealer strip and check the forks under warranty, but he found nothing wrong. The model was newly released at the time, so wasn't a familiar sight. Those extensions look very well made!

Wow, ok will certainly get it all measured when I take her in, feeling another inch all round would be good and then change riding style morn to getting body over more outside peg and much more bar input and only for times when I need to play rest of the time just cruising which was the intent when buying the bike but just can't help myself.
Was toying with going to a 130/90/16 over the 150/80/16 for the quicker steering.
Oh well keep you updated on progress
