OK so the shop manual says lifetime. Yea almost 20 years and 125K while I got this thing scattered I'm changing the bearings. Got shop press so that should be no problem. Only question b4 I start
pushing is the little retainer clip. For the life of me looks like it is basically an "adapter" to the bearing to set the depth. Ne bearing has it all ready installed. So just press from the inside of swing arm out and press new bearing from outside in till clip is flush with frame correct? Thinks
Well I can confirm they do press out from the inside and press back from the outside. Mine were almost 20 year and were shot. No grease left. I have a 12 ton shop press and I didn't think I would get them to move without it. Once they moved it was all good but never would have broke them free with all thread. (I tried)
