Default Rebuilt forks and now way too stiff

03 Dyna FXD. I have brand new stock length tubes and new bushings and seals and put in the recommend amount of fork oil, the wet recommendation. It is way too stiff, I even drained some oil out and still stiff. I can move the suspension in and out while stopped and using the front brake to hold the wheel but while riding if I hit bumps it doesn't seem to react very much. Any suggestions?

Were they are OEM parts? What weight oil and how much?

If you didn't clean all the crap out of the for lowers, the damping rods can tweak.

One thing you can do is lift the front wheel, loosen and retighten the axle pinch bolt.
