'07 Heritage Rims on a '00 FB
I got a great deal on some spokes off of a '07 Heritage, the rear is a 3/4" axle and the front is a 1" axle. I called one of the local Harley dealerships and talked to service and the service mgr looked up the bearing part #'s and showed the exact same #'s for the bearings in the front wheelofmy '00 FB and the front wheel for a '07 Heritage. I have heard that some of the early twin cam softails have 1" front axles and some have 3/4" front axles but I don't know if that is just BS or what.
I have not received the rims yet but I was trying to find out so I can everything together before they get here

well I got my rims in today off of a '07 heritage and I called 3 different dealerships and they all told my that the an 07 heritage front rim runs the same bearing as the front of my 00 fatboy. it seems either HD and a mid year change and increased the axle size to a 1" or I got 08 heritage rims because the parts guy checked the 08 catalog and it listed the bearing that was in my rim as the one they are using in 08. but i found out my 00 FB definately has a 3/4 axle in the front.
