Default To raise or not to raise?

I need some feedback please. I will read as many and be as open minded as possible.
I have a 00 Road King 42k miles that my father left me when he passed away. I really enjoy riding it and I'm very comfortable on it. I promised him i would take care of it, continue to ride it and to try to keep it the same way he left it. Here is my situation.

My father was "vertically challenged" :-) (I say that lovingly) @ 5'4" he felt more comfortable lowering the bike. I know he lowered it a lot I can't say exactly how much. I just know he lowered the front and rear. I am 6' and wondering if I should raise it back up? Is it worth the cost? I do scrape my floor boards quite a bit. I group ride with several people and they are starting to call me "sparky".

I need thoughts ie pros/cons any feedback would be great.

Raising the bike will not only make it safer, but handle better. This will do NO injustice to your father. He'd want you to enjoy the ride...while still being safe...and thinking of him.

If he lowered thru sliding the forks up the trees than that would be easy to adjust. Loosen them up and move them. In the rear did he change the shocks or add lowering mounts?. Either way I would adjust it so you feel safe and above all comfortable. Play around with it a little. I am sorry for your loss but I do not think he would mind if you adjusted the bike to allow you to feel more comfortable and safer. Hell you may not like once it is adjusted. Tinkering is fun though so play with it.
