FXDS replacement gas tank
Help, I am trying to replace the gas tank
on my 1998 FXDS and have the opportunity acquire a 1996 FXDS tank to replace it.
My question is I was told they are interchangable, but then found out the part numbers for 96 and 98 models are different. Last two (2) digits are different and I am concerned about this difference.
Will a 96 tank actually mount on a 98 frame?
