Default Help identify frame

Ok here we go guys my name is Scott and I just picked up a 62 xlch that is torn apart in every nut and bolt possible. I need to know how to figure out what frame was original on this bike as I was given 2 of them and the research i have done does not show me the correct configuration for the ones that I have. so if any one can help me identify this I would love to have a correct pic of what I need. The pick from bike bandit is very close to what Ihave except that the 2 tubes in the rear for the seat do not go all the way up and through. so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Scott

The frames have no vin # from every where I have looked, I was even thinking of trying to turn them inside out to locate them

I think they did put part numbers on the frames, that may be a way to trace it. If you post pics of the frames, maybe some of the Sportster experts here on the forum will be able to help identify them.

Scott, try posting this over on the Sportster section of the forum, and post some pics there too. Bet someone can help you over there.
