Default Info on Works Performance shocks

I purchased my bike and it already had a set of Works Performance shocks on it. They seem to be doing a great job as the ride is good. I am just curious about them. I have checked their website but I'm not exaclty sure which model they are.

They have air valves on them, can I adjust them using an air compressor or do they take something special? What is a good PSI range for shocks like these? Any insight you guys have on these shocks would be great.

leave those Schroeder valves alone. That is for charging the nitrogen at the factory or qualified service personal. Not air shocks, they are nitrogen charged.

I have the works Air Trackers on my vrod and love them. They are the latest from Works and are air adjustable.

Looks like you have the billet trackers. They are adjusted with the spring pre-load. hers is a link http://www.worksperformance.com/html/tpl_desc.html

As stated the schrader valves are to pre-charge with nitrogen and should be left alone.

You should be able to contact their tech support group. They were very helpful when i bought the Air trackers.

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys! You had it right on. I got an email from Works Performance - very helpful!

I have the Billet Tracker Series with threaded spring preload and I will leave the valves alone.

Thanks again! I guess I had some blind luck when I bought this bike since this setup came with it.
