Default Rake and Downtube question on stock frame

I posted this in the softail forum also, but I wasn't sure if anyone here would know. I have a stock frame on my 05 softail. I would like to get a little more of a chopper look to my bike, but don't want to chop the frame. Has anyone added raked trees to thier bike and extended the downtubes on a stock frame. I don't want it to look too extreme. I lowered it 2 inches. I was thinking of 5 degree trees with maybe +4 tubes. I also want to make sure the frame is still fairly level. Any help would be appreciated

If you simply add raked trees and longer forks, you'll throw the trail out of whack and your bike will handle in an unsafe manner. I did see a company once that offered raked trees along with a bolt on mod that changed the neck angle (or something like that) where it kept the correct trail measurements, but I can't for the life of me remember the name of the company. You might do a search on here as well as on the internet and see what you come up with.

Try www.seegercycle , they have kits to extend the frontend with a stock frame while keeping the correct trail.

Here's you a link to check out. I have their setup on mine. It rides better than stock. I have the 14* rake with 8" over tubes. Wish I had waited, they now offer an 18* & Springer kits.

I must be missing something! If you don't want to "chop" your frame, how are you going to add any length to the downtubes?

Look up 'chopper-kit-usa'. They have alot of different degrees and length configurations for sale.
My choice is 9' with 4" over tubes.
