im wanting to install a set of controls on my 93, can get a set for 00 &up from a buddy cheap. Does any one know of a adapter to mount the newer style controls on the older frames??

Chances are you'd have to sketch something up and find a machinist to make you something. It'll probably approach the cost of a new (or used) set that was designed for your bike.
